Proktovena surgical centre by Dr. Ištok was founded by a husband and wife, a surgeon and a lawyer, with a passion for a holistic approach to the patient. I would like to say that I am not a "typical" surgeon. In my practice, I try to approach patients as individuals and see their problems holistically. Many years of experience and my motivation to continuously educate myself confirm that sensitive and respectful treatment brings even better results. And if reliable diagnostics and state-of-the-art procedures are added to this, we welcome patients from all over the world to our clinic. I will be glad if you will also feel "worldly" with us.
I am the co-founder of Proktovena by Dr. Ištok. From my position as a strategist and senior manager, I translate our vision into reality: to provide world-class services to patients in Slovakia. Together with my husband, a renowned and globally recognised specialist, we have travelled around the world. At international conferences we admire the high level, expertise and insight of the presenting doctors. And we don't just stop at admiration, we set the same bar every day here in Proktovena.
